Work Visa in Ecuador: Types and Requirements

Ecuador does not issue a single “work visa”. Under the Organic Law on Human Mobility, a foreigner who wants to work or do business in Ecuador applies for a temporary residence visa in the category that matches their situation. Applications are handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility.
